How to build a balanced deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel
When building a deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, you want to keep a balance of40 cards. While you can add up to 60 cards to your deck, having more cards makes it harder to draw the cards you need to win. With these 40 cards, we recommend a balance of20 monster cards,10 spell cards, and10 trap cards.
This ratio can fluctuate depending on the win conditions of your deck. Therefore, you should build your deck aroundone or two win conditions. This lets you have a higher chance of winning as you are more likely to draw and use your best cards.
Choosing a deck build in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel
With so many cards and builds to choose from, it can be hard to know how to build your deck. There are a couple of different ways to choose a build. You can go with what’s popular in the meta, choose a theme, or go with specific strategies. When building a deck, here are a couple oftips to remember.
Fine-tuning your deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel
You are not done when you have finished your deck, as you still need toedit and fine-tune it. We recommend taking alook at your deck after three matches. Examine what worked and didn’t work. If a card was not used or failed to live up to expectations, remove it from your deck.
On the opposite hand, if something worked, move your deck around to incorporate it into your win condition or add cards that support it or make it easier to achieve. With an ever-changing meta and new cards being added, your deck is never really complete in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel.
