YouTube is hosting an event combining the biggest games with some of the biggest names in streaming. It promises a way for the audience to play along, but the first step to playing or watching is knowing when the event is happening and who is involved.
YouTube: Game On Who and When
The Game On event will premiere at4pm ET on Jul 10, 2025. Beyond that, there’s very little information on the event. The games shown briefly were Fortnite and Street Fighter 6. Despite the lack of information, YouTube is clearly hoping this will be a large event due to the cross-promotion happening with developers and larger content creators.

A Saturday where some of YouTube’s favorite entertainers are showing off their prowess in gaming juggernauts like Fortnite is sure to be a hit. Will it be enough to put a dent in some ofTwitch’s viewership? Who knows? But from the looks of it, YouTube wants to make a bigger impact in the streaming space.
