With the reveal of a new Xenoblade Chronicles 3 trailer, fans are already picking it apart for information on the new title. One thing that stands out is that Monolift Soft may have teased the return of the Monado.

The newXenoblade Chronicles 3trailer was revealed on the officialNintendoYouTube channel andNintendoTwitter. At the one-minute and fifty-five-second mark, you’re able to see Noah pull out what appears to look like the Monado. This Monado-looking sword looks different from the sword typically seen with him.

The Monado aspects of the sword also appear to join Noah’s hand in this trailer which only adds to the curiosity of whether or not the Monado will appear in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and how it will be implemented. Shulk first wielded the Monado in Xenoblade Chronicles. It appeared in the sequel along with other swords that look similar.

We don’t know for sure if this is the Monado or some other variation, but it would be a neat tie-in to the series if the Monado returns in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
