Beating Clive the Firestarter is not hard in V Rising. You mainly need to watch out for strongAOE attacks, which are relatively common with most bosses in the game. Clive’s AOE attacks are slightly different as they have a far wider range. Because of this, you will want to save yourVeil of Bloodor similar abilities for getting out of the way fast.
You will also want to focus on using ranged attacks and possibly making a Crossbow, as Clive seems to drop bomb attacks more often if you are close to him. Clearing the area around you of other enemies is also recommended as it will be harder to focus on Clive when getting swarmed by bandits.
