Genshin Impact has found itself going through many updates since its launch. This is the first time that the Serenitea Pot has ever had its features go down for maintenance, though. Since the start of 2.6, players have not been able to place or remove items from their realm, causing a bit of frustration.
How long will the Serenitea Pot maintenance last?
We don’t knowat this point, but originally it wasn’t supposed to last very long. There was an event scheduled to occur in the Serenitea Pot calledSpices From the West that has been removed from the 2.6event listings. This was likely the reason the maintenance was launched in the first place, as realms had never before hosted a live event.

The official cause for the delay is not known but may be due to world events occurring overseas in Shanghai. HoYoverse is compensating players by sending them a weekly allowance of5,000 Realm Currency,and the Realm Shop is stillopenfor business.
