GTA Online is getting a big update called The Criminal Enterprises on Jul 23, 2025. The update will focus on Criminal Careers for all those illegal entrepreneurs. But they are not the only ones getting new stuff to do as there are new Contact Missions for undercover agents.
The new update introduces the story of the Duggan petrochemical family who wants to get rich using a gas situation where prices are at a historical level. That situation is great for criminal minds, but it has also drawn attention to IAA. There’s a newOperation Paper Trailwhere up to four agents will investigate the business of local gas tycoons, the Duggans family.
The Criminal Enterprises update also brings quality-of-life improvements and balances for players, so expect increased payouts (especially for original and Doomsday Heist), more vehicles, modes, and missions! you’re able to also now play themost profitable business activitiesin private or with friends.

As the focus of the update is on criminal businesses, San Andreas entrepreneurs like Executives, Bikers, Gunrunners, and Nightclub Owners now have new options to get even richer on the black market.
And let’s not forget cars, as GTA was always about driving cars (and other vehicles) in the first place. Now you’ll have new ways to deliver goods. And when we say vehicles, we mean those tuned road beasts, as now you’ll have even more options for customizing cars.
