In March 2022, Sony first announced that PlayStation Plus would be reworked with new subscription tiers and gave an estimated release of June. But Sony has now given an updated timeline with the new tiers beginning to roll out in May.

This news came from the officialPlayStationTwitter and was also posted on thePlayStationblog. This update reveals the following dates for when the new PlayStation Plus subscription tiers will be released.

The update comes ahead of the initial June estimate in certain markets, while others will receive the new tiers in June. The rework of PlayStation Plus combines PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus to create a more streamlined service with various options.
