Making or buying a wedding cake in The Sims 4’s in the My Wedding Stories game pack is pretty simple, even if it is not immediately obvious. Simply choose between baking on your own, visiting a cake shop, or using a home computer.
How to choose which wedding cake you want in My Wedding Stories
To get your ideal wedding cake picked out for your sims' ceremony, head over to the village square in Tartosa and head over to the cake shop. The shop is part of the city square, just like the city center in City Living, meaning you can’t actually go into the cake shop.
Choose the option to do a cake testing with the shop, if you’d like. Once you have finished this, choose the cake that you want. You can also skip this whole process by going to your computer and choosingOrder…and thenPurchase Wedding Cake…and paying digitally.

How to bake a wedding cake in My Wedding Stories
To bake the cake, you’llneed the gourmet cooking skillto make your own wedding cake. You can level up that skill after you have reached level five of the regular cooking skill. Once you have achieved the gourmet cooking skill, head to any oven, click on it, and chooseMake Wedding Cake. Choose which type you want to bake and wait for your sim to finish!
