One of the most exciting things about Romance Guide is how it’s partially a dating sim. As early as the second or third week of your stay in Rigbarth, you’re allowed to pursue one resident of your choice and woo them with exciting dates, food, and the smell of adventure.

Who can you marry in Rune Factory 5?
The good news is that no matter what gender you pick at the beginning of the game, every eligible bachelor and bachelorette in Rigbarth can be asked for their hand in marriage.

You will know they’re a bachelor or bachelorette if their name is marked with aheart(as opposed to a smiley face) on your relationship menu.
How to date your love interest in Rune Factory 5
Fulfilling both will allow Ares or Alice toconfessmid-dialogue. You will see an “Um…” or something similar on the dialogue box if your character is ready to confess.
However, just because you’re ready to confess doesn’t mean they’re ready to accept your confession.you may only confess once a day.If you’re rejected, try the next day again. Your chances of accepting your confession go up the higher your friendship level with them is. You can raise friendship levels using theGreeting Spellonce a day, going with them to festivals, taking them on adventures, and bribing them with their favorite gifts—among others.

How to get married in Rune Factory 5
Once you’re dating the love interest of your choice, it’s time to take the next step: getting married! There is no divorce in this game, so you need to be ready to commit.
After you’ve done all of the above, you can now offer them anEngagement Ringand make your proposal. This is a level 20 craftable item. All you need is ore and a gemstone.
Finally, you’ll be asked to clear aWedding Task. This will be available to view on the Rigbarth task board.

When can you have children in Rune Factory 5?
Before you may have children,at least three weeksafter marriage need to pass before either you or your partner can have children. You can get a child even if you’re in a same-sex relationship. The only difference is the cutscene. Instead of either you or your partner getting pregnant, they instead pray to a tree.
The child will be born approximately five weeks later. you’re able to only have a maximum ofthree kidsper playthrough. A five-year time skip will happen whenever they’re born.
