Niantic has announced the next season of Pokémon GO. TheSeason of Light, which follows on the heels of the previous Season of GO, will run fromSeptember 1,2022, toDecember 1,2022. This event will bring new Pokémon to Raids, Eggs, and Wild Encounters and will also feature new events and research for players to complete.
Pokémon GO Season of Light Debut Pokémon
Cosmogis the new featured Pokémon in Pokémon GO’s Season of Light. Cosmog is a legendary Pokémon that works a bit differently than others. Unlike the typical legendary Pokémon, Cosmog evolves intoCosmoemand then into the box legendariesLunalaandSolgaleo. If Cosmog is being introduced, we’re sure to see the other three Pokémon soon, likely during the Season of Light.

Pokémon GO Season of Light Raids
While there will likely be more new and interesting Raid bosses during the Season of Light, the most notable announcement so far is the return ofDeoxys. All Formes of Deoxys, and theirrespective shiny forms, will be available fromSeptember 1,2022, toSeptember 13,2022.
