Each attribute affects your character’s abilities on the soccer field, so it’s important to keep track of what characters and gear work for how you play. Perhaps you want a team of speedy players, or maybe a team full of strong shooters. However you want to create your team, understanding attributes is important. Here are is what each attribute in Mario Strikers: Battle League does.

Gear explained
Gear can be equipped to change attributes for each character. Every character has unique gear that can be purchased with Coins and equipped to their head, body, arms, or legs. Most gear will improve one attribute and decrease another, so make sure you are using gear that is helpful to that character’s attributes.
Gear not only changes attributes, but also changes how your character looks. You can choose your gear individually for each gear slot to mix and match styles. For now, it seems there is a limited selection of gear, but more may be added in the future.
