Brand, the Burning Vengeance, is a mage who dominates tight ganks thanks to his skills and passive. He deals massive burst damage to isolated targets and has immense crowd control abilities. Combine those with an AP heavy build, and you’ll have yourself a late-game mage who can absolutely vaporize their targets in seconds.
Brand is most commonly played as a mid-lane mage or a dragon-lane support. He has a lot of poke damage to keep enemies at bay, and this makes him a strong contender for the laning phase. However, Brand falls short when it comes to mobility and is prone to getting ganked in the early game. Therefore, we recommend picking Brand as a counter instead of going with a blind pick.

Passive: Blaze
Brand’s abilities set enemiesAblaze, dealing a percentage of their max Health as magic damage over a short period. StackingAblazethree times on champions and large monsters causes them to detonate after a couple of seconds, dealing 10% of each nearby enemies' max Health as magic damage.
Ability 1: Sear

Ability 2: Pillar of Flame
After a short delay, Brand creates a Pillar of Flame at a target area, dealing magic damage to enemy units within the area. This ability deals30% more damageto enemies that areAblaze.
Ability 3: Conflagration
Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target that spreads to nearby enemies, dealing magic damage. If the target isAblaze, Conflagration’sarea of spread is increased. This is not a skill shot and is the most ideal ability to start a fight with.
Ultimate: Pyroclasm
Brand releases a torrent of flame that bouncesfivetimes between enemies and himself. If the target is alreadyAblaze, itslowsthem briefly. We recommend saving this ability for a large gank instead of using it on a 1v1 duel.

Combo 1: Ability 3 > Ability 1 > Ability 2
This combo is Brand’s bread and butter. His third ability is not a skill shot and is bound to hit the target and set them Ablaze. Follow it up with his first ability, Sear, to stun them, then finish them off with his third ability.
Combo 2: Ability 3 > Ultimate > Ability 1 > Ability 2
This combo is a solid option for when enemies are close to each other or in a gank. Using the Ultimate early on, ensures that it bounces to as many enemies as possible. Follow it up with the other abilities to deal massive burst damage.
