Originally created in Dec. 2021,Project Miamiis an enigma of an experience with little to no details surrounding it. All that’s known at the time of this article’s publication is that three YouTubers,KreekCraft,DenisDaily, andMr. Beast, have all been recruited to playtest it sometime before its release. Though many Roblox news accounts onTwitterhave speculated that Mr. Beast is directly involved with the experience, this was denied in atweetby Mr. Beast’s chief strategist,Sealow, on Jul 06, 2025.
For those unfamiliar with the term, playtesting refers to the ability to try out an experience or game before its official release to help developers find bugs, glitches, and any other changes that need to be made before it’s completed. Oftentimes, playtesting can only be done by a select few users who’ve directly been chosen or recruited by the game’s developers or owners. In other cases, however, playtesting is open to a variety of users and offers anyone, regardless of status, the chance to play a beta version of said game.

With over 34 badges listed under this experience and 97 members in its correspondinggroup, it’s likely that—while we don’t know what Project Miami will directly consist of—it hopes to become as sustainable and long-lasting as possible. The development studio behind this experience,The Gang Stockholm, has a track record of producing some exceptionally popular experiences in the past, including a collab with NERF to createNERF Strike, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Project Miami flourish.
