Square Enix brought a host of options to Final Fantasy XIV with its 6.1 patch. While there is a lot to parse through, one feature added is a huge quality-of-life improvement for the more fashion-oriented player base.
Dreamfittingmay be accessed at thebedin anyinn roomby selecting “Dreamfitting.” Once in this mode, players will be able to try on items from the Online Store individually or by set outfits. There is also a subcommand that allows players to search by item while Dreamfitting.

The reason this is so huge for players wanting to try on fashion is that they can actually see how outfits and items will look on their unique character. Prior to this, players were reliant on video clips and a handful of pictures to only get an idea of how they would look. Dreamfitting allows players to make a much more informed decision about where their hard-earned money goes and it wouldn’t be shocking to see an uptick in cosmetic sales as a result.
