There are tons of different skills for players to invest in within Rune Factory 5. Some are more of daily tasks that will level up naturally as the player completes things, others will need to be acquired through purchasing a license. As players unlock and level each of their skill types, they will become more adept with more recipes, abilities, and bonuses.

To upgrade and level up the spells, players will need to increase their friendship with Lucas to five. This will unlock Crystalabra’s second expansion at Studio Palmo. The Crystalabra will allow Lucas to then level up the player’s skills.
