To tame familiars in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, you will need to acquireBiscuitsand findBrighterflies. With Biscuits in hand, approach the group of Brighterflies and press thehand icon. This will transform the blue butterflies into a familiar.

Next, click on theheart iconthat appears beside the familiar. You can thengive it a Biscuitand attempt to tame it. If you are successful, the familiar will be tamed and join your roster. If you are unsuccessful, you can try again. It is worth taming familiars even if you do not plan to use them as they can be sacrificed to power up other familiars.
Where to find Biscuits
you may find Biscuits as you progress through the game, but it is much quicker and easier to purchase them. Press thethree lines iconin the top-right corner of the screen, then select theShopand go to the Basic Shop. Once there, selectAdventure Items. Here, you will find Biscuits. There areseven different typesof Biscuits, and you can buy a max of 30 per week. We recommend stocking up on each type, as different familiars prefer different Biscuits.
Where to find Brighterflies
Brighterflies can be found in various areas allthroughout the world, especiallynear monsters. you’re able to find them randomly from the start of the game. They appear asblue butterfliesthat give off an aura of light. We recommend looking in the Golden Grove, particularly the most northwestern room.
