While uncovering the truth of his past, Serge will encounter a diverse cast of allies ready to help him out, each with their own rich backstories and motivations. There are a total of45 playable charactersin Chrono Cross, meaning you’ll have plenty of options to form the perfect team. In this guide we’ll be looking at one character in particular—the young Acacia Dragoon, Glenn. Here’s how to recruit Glenn in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition.

Where to find and recruit Glenn
In order to recruit Glenn into your party, first, you’ll need torefuse helping to find Kidan antidote. Once this has been done, speak with Macha and make your way toTermina (Another World). Upon arriving, head to theflower shopto initiate a short cutscene between the flower shop lady and Glenn, in which he reveals his desire to find a boat and infiltrate Fort Dragonia (Another World).

Once the scene is done, Glenn will depart off-screentoward the docks. Head back over to the docks andspeak with Machaonce again, at which point Glenn will introduce himself to the party and ask to borrow your boat. After learning that Serge is headed toward Fort Dragonia as well, Glenn will request to accompany the group, unlocking him as a playable character in the process.
Glenn’s abilities
Glenn’sinnate element is Green, the elemental color closely associated with air and nature, and his Attack stat is thehighestamong innate Green characters. Additionally, he is capable ofdual-wieldingtwo Einlanzer swords once both are acquired. When using theDash&Gashtech, Glenn rushes toward his opponent with blinding speed, slicing right through them to deal a hefty amount of damage.
On the other hand, Glenn’sSonicSwordtech sees him concentrating Green energy into his sword before drawing it, causing it to extend toward his enemies and deal massive damage. Glenn is the strongest physical attacking innate Green character that can be recruited during Chrono Cross, and he only gets deadlier with both Einlanzers in his possession.
