Monstadt’s legendary summer islands, the Golden Apple Archipelago, are back for Genshin Impact’s Summertime Odyssey event, which runs fromJuly 15, 2022, to June 04, 2025. The Golden Apple Archipelago is a limited exploration area, where you can unlock Teleport Waypoints, collect Treasure Chests, and complete puzzles within the event period.
Once you make it to the summer islands, the map won’t be fully unlocked—even if you already explored the region last year. Here’s what you need to do to light up the Golden Apple Archipelago World Map in Genshin Impact.
How to go to the Golden Apple Archipelago in Genshin Impact
To visit the summer islands, you need to meet the following prerequisites:
Once you meet all the above requirements, you’ll automatically get an Event Quest calledThe Golden Apple Vacation Returns!But if you choose not to complete Mona’s Story Quest, head to the event menu, select Summertime Odyssey, then clickQuick Startto get the Event Quest. Following this quest will eventually take you to the Golden Apple Archipelago.

How to light up the Golden Apple Archipelago World Map in Genshin Impact
To light up the Golden Apple Archipelago World Map, you need tounlock the three Teleport Waypointscircled in the image above. The Teleport Waypoint north of the Broken Isle will unlock the Broken Isle and Minacious Isle, while the ones in the Twinning Isle and Pudding Isle will unlock their corresponding islands.
The Teleport Waypoints can be unlocked in any order. you’re able to reach them by unlocking Waverider Waypoints around the map, summoning aWaverider, and traveling through the sea.
