Final Fantasy XIV offers a plethora of mounts for players to collect as they travel through Eorzea and the surrounding nations. Some mounts are easy to obtain while others require more work, like the Megalotragus. Here’s how to get the bighorn sheep as your steed in Final Fantasy XIV.
There are two ways to get the Megalotragus mount in Final Fantasy XIV. Players must first acquire theMegalotragus Horn, available from the Market Board via other players if you’re flush with Gil. Head to the Market Board and type in the item name to see the recent listings and price points. If you’re unwilling to spend a hefty sum on this mount’s summon tool, the Megalotragus Horn is available fromEnieinThe Firmament(X: 12.0 Y: 14.0) for8,400Skybuilders' Scrips. The Firmament is located in theCoerthaszone and is a segment of theIshgardsettlement.

How to get Skybuilders' Scrips
Players can earn Skybuilders' Scrips via theIshgardian Restoration, an activity for Disciples of the Hand and Land in Final Fantasy XIV. To unlock this activity, complete theTowards the Firmamentside mission inFoundation(X: 9.7 Y: 11.5), which requires players to be level 60 and complete the main scenario quest Litany of Peace. Players must also be level 20 or above in their Disciple of the Land or Hand class before beginning Ishgardian Restoration missions.
Once players have met these requirements, they can speak toPotkin(X:12.2 Y: 14.6) inThe Firmamentto take on a series of requests that reward users with Skybuilders' Scrips and Experience. The Ishgardian Restoration projects task players with collecting certain items, and the higher the items’Collectability, the more Scrips players are rewarded.
