WhileFind the Markersmay seem like just another scavenger-hunt-style experience, it actually offers quite an intricate map, with more than a handful of challenging secrets to find. With itsDark Markeryupdate, Find the Markers has added three more markers for players to discover, including the one that we’ll be covering in this brief guide,Dark Markery.
Finding the Dark Markery
Once you’ve spawned into Find the Markers, head toward the Candyland area of the map and look for the hot chocolate waterfall pictured below.
Behind this waterfall is a secret safe that can only be unlocked with a code given to you byFoliage Marker.
To input the code into this safe, pressEand select the numbers3882. Once you’ve inputted the code, click on the greenGObutton.
The safe should now be open, giving you access to the small crowbar hidden inside.
With the crowbar in hand, return to the spawn and look for the mysterious door pictured below.
PressEwhen in front of this door to use your crowbar to remove the planks of wood that are blocking it off. Once open, walk inside the door and hop into the hole pictured below.
After falling to the bottom of the hole, you should arrive at a short obby that requires you to carefully walk across a path made out of vines.
At the other side of this path should be an archway that leads you to a large, decrepit tower.

Walk to the back of this tower to find our next clue—the codeEVILPURPLECHAINSAW.
To find out where we need to enter this code, press the black and purple spawn button at the bottom of your screen to return to the main area. Once there, head to the forest area of the map and look for the factory pictured below.
Enter the factory and walk into its Assembly Room. Inside of this room should be a brown box—jump inside of this box to enter the factory’s basement.
Once inside the basement, walk forward and touch the rocket in the corner of the room—this will teleport you to Mars.
On Mars, look for the wooden sign shaped like an arrow pictured below. This sign can be found to the right of the experiment lab.
Follow where the arrow points and jump off of the edge of the planet—trust us! You should land on the solar system pictured below.
Once inside the solar system, look for a spinning purple shape labeled???and pressEto teleport to it.
Once on this planet, walk into the room outlined by a purple rectangle.
Inside of this room is a maze that’s relatively easy to maneuver through, but exceptionally hard to see. We’d recommend turning your brightness all the way up and walking with your camera pointed toward the floor for the best chance of seeing what’s around you. At the end of this maze you should find another purple rectangle that leads into a decorated hallway.

At the end of this hallway is a TV that requires a secret passcode.
To enter the passcode, click the TV or pressE. Then, type inEVILPURPLECHAINSAWand press theENTERbutton. Upon doing so, you will be teleported to The Dimension of Darkness. If the code doesn’t work, and instead readsNice Try, it’s because you don’t have the Foliage Marker unlocked.
Once inside The Dimension of Darkness, a small amount of dialogue will play and Purple Marker will ask you to rescue them by defeating Dark Markery.
After the rest of the dialogue finishes, Dark Markery will appear and begin to chase you with a chainsaw! Use your laser gun to take them down!
Unfortunately, defeating Dark Markery once isn’t enough. In order to rescue Purple Marker, you’ll need to take down Dark Markery a second time while avoiding various flying chainsaws. This task can be rather hard and frustrating, so don’t be discouraged if it takes you multiple tries! Once you’ve defeated Dark Markery the second time, Purple Marker will thank you for freeing them by adding Dark Markery to your Markerdex.
After claiming Dark Markery, you will automatically be teleported back to the main area and can pat yourself on the back! If you’re still looking for a challenge, however, you can try fighting Dark Markery again and earning theSpeedrunnerbadge by defeating them in less than 75 seconds!
