The language learning application Duolingo has joined the Roblox Metaverse with theirDuolingo Game Hubexperience! Along with this experience comes a handful of UGC items themed to the app’s notable mascot, the Duolingo Owl. Two of these items, theDuolingo BodysuitandDuolingo Snapback Capcan even be earned for free by following the guide below!
Obtaining Duolingo items
In order to obtain the two free items inside of this experience, players will need to earn enough Coins to unlock them—3,000 Coins total. Coins can be earned by playing theSpanish or Vanishminigame located in the experience’s spawn. Before you jump headfirst into this minigame, however, it’s important to follow the steps listed below so that you may earn a few Coin multipliers and make the collecting process much easier and less time consuming.
Earning Coins
Once you’ve spawned into Duolingo Game Hub, head toward the arcade building pictured below.
Inside of this arcade are 25 fan-made minigames that players can join and explore, along with a sign that explains how the multipliers work.
As can be seen from the image above, multipliers are given depending on how many minigames you’ve played. If you play four minigames, you will earn a 2x multiplier, if you play 10 minigames, you will earn a 3x multiplier, and if you play all 25 minigames, you will earn a 4x multiplier. to earn Coins as fast as possible, wehighlyrecommend playing all 25 minigames.
To play a minigame, simply walk up to its corresponding picture and holdEwhen the prompt appears.
Luckily, you don’t have to stay in these minigames long in order for it to count toward playing every minigame. In fact, you can leave immediately after joining by locating and stepping onto the hub portal pictured below. Each minigame that you join will have a variation of this portal somewhere inside of it.
As you enter and exit the minigames, you should notice the Coin counter at the top of your screen begin to automatically earn multipliers. Once you’ve entered and played every minigame in the arcade, meaning every minigame has a greenPlayedsign above its picture, your counter should have a 4x multiplier.
Now, you’re ready to start earning Coins! Unfortunately, as you may have noticed already, Coins earned within the fan-made minigames don’t count toward your overall Duolingo Hub Game Coin count. Instead, Coins must be earned inside of the official Spanish or Vanish game. To play this game, leave the arcade and head toward the game’s entrance pictured below.
Once here, pressEto join the game and be teleported to it’s spawn.
In order to beat this minigame, players will need to explore three unique mazes, collect a variety of items and Coins, avoid the patrolling Duolingo Owls, and make the great escape! The items that you need to collect in the level one maze are a bouquet of flowers, a plate of meatballs, and a candle. Unfortunately, this maze can be exceptionally confusing to maneuver throughout and doesn’t offer an easy solution, so the best advice that we can give you is to look for the map pictured below and try your best to follow it!

After collecting all of these items, head to the back of the maze and approach the large house. Once in front of it, press and holdEto go inside.
Inside of this house should be another Duolingo Owl and a small pile of Coins.
In order to move on to the next level of the maze, you’ll need to complete a short Spanish lesson with the Duolingo Owl. The answers to this lesson can be found below:
Once in the second part of the maze, you’ll need to look for and interact with another three items—Duolingo’s desk, a toilet paper roll, and the copy machine. This maze is much easier to explore and maneuver throughout than the first, so it shouldn’t take too long to find these items. If you’re having trouble, check out our brief tips below.
After collecting all of these items, and whatever Coins you could find, head to the back of this maze and approach the elevator door. Once there, press and holdEto enter it.
Inside of this elevator should be another Duolingo Owl and a decent amount of Coins!

In order to move onto the next level of the maze, you’ll need to complete another short Spanish lesson. The answers to this lesson can be found below:
Once you’ve answered Duo’s questions correctly, you’ll be able to move to the third maze. Hidden throughout this maze are five of Duo’s friends. In order to leave the arcade, you’ll need to find all five of these friends and invite them to Duo’s birthday party. Because the arcade machines inside of this maze are so short, it’s relatively easy to find everyone—this level shouldn’t give you much trouble!
After finding all five guests, head to the back of the maze, look for the party doors, and holdEto open them.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully finished the maze, collected every item for Duo’s birthday party, and earned a ton of free Coins.
To leave Duo’s party and return to the Duolingo Hub Game, approach the doors behind him and holdE. Once you’re back at the spawn, look for the shop building pictured below and enter it.
Inside of this shop are all of the Duolingo-themed items that you can purchase with Robux or unlock with all of the Coins that you just earned! Don’t worry if you don’t have enough Coins to purchase both free items right away, you can go back and replay the Spanish or Vanish game at any time to earn more!
