How to find the Mangrove Swamp biome in Minecraft
The Mangrove Swamp is not an entirely new biome type in Minecraft, but rather avariant of a normal Swampbiome (similar to how Sparse Jungle biomes are a variant of normal Jungle biomes). This means that the best places to look for a Mangrove Swamp is oftennear a normal Swampbiome. Mangroves will spawn inwarmer climates, so it is best to checknear Jungles and Deserts.

The foliage is made up almost exclusively of a dense collection ofMangrove Trees, a new tree type added with Minecraft 1.19. These trees can vary quite a bit in height and are easily identifiable by their exposed roots. The leaves and water sport a more saturated color compared to a normal swamp, and the ground is riddled withMud blocks. This biome is also a prime spawning ground for both tropical fish and theWarm Frog.
