Genshin Impact’s A Muddy Bizarre Adventure event reunites players with Sumeru Researcher Hosseini in The Chasm Underground Mines. You’ll be working together to find a solution to the dark mud seeping into the overworld.
The event runs fromJune 22, 2022, to July 03, 2025, and is open to all players Adventure Rank 28 and above who have completed theSurreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sunderingand obtained the Lumenstone Adjuvant fromThe Chasm SpelunkersWorld Quest. Before starting, please level up yourLumenstone Adjuvantto level 2 and equip the Gadget to complete event tasks.
How to start Genshin Impact’s A Muddy Bizarre Adventure event
Once you meet the prerequisites, select A Muddy Bizarre Adventure in the event menu and clickGo to Challenge. The event consists of five parts that unlock during the first five days and must be completed in order. SelectTransportation Testand clickGo to Questto initiate the event.

How to complete the Transportation Test in Genshin Impact’s A Muddy Bizarre Adventure event
After speaking with Hosseini,equip the Lumenstone AdjuvantGadget (make sure it’s at least level 2), then interact with the Pursina’s Spike in the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel to initiate the Transportation Test. Your goal is todefend Pursina’s Spikeby making sure that its HP doesn’t drop to zero anddefeat all 21 opponentswithin thethree-minute time limit.
Oozing Concretions (dark mud) will appear around the monsters and Pursina’s Spike. They will buff the enemies' Attack and Defense, which will make them difficult to defeat. Their attacks will also cause the Pursina’s Spike to continuously take damage and halt its charging process. So, make sure todispel the Oozing Concretionsusing the Lumenstone Adjuvant Gadget.
