The Guardian Games have returned and brought a handful of quests with. One of these quests is particularly troublesome for Guardians as it doesn’t seem to be progressing for anyone.
To complete theShoot the Scorequest, Guardians will need to follow the stepswhich are locked between event phases. As such, there will be times when it isn’t possible to progress until the next phase begins. For example, the first step is a practice round where Guardians must play the Training playlist (Tuesdays through Thursdays). This will help them prepare for the Competitive playlist which opens on Fridays through Mondays.

So for those wondering why the quest isn’t progressing at the beginning of Guardian Games, it’s not a bug. This was explained in the TWAB covering Guardian Games but never in the game. As such, it’s understandable that Guardians who don’t read the TWAB would be in the dark. Bungie has a history of making things vague, but the 2022 Guardian Games is especially convoluted.
