In Winter Ember, you play Arthur Artorias on a quest to seek vengeance for the murder of his family. Along the way, you will encounter various side quests that can earn you some extra gold or items. Where to find clues for the Poison the Well quest in Winter Ember
There are three buildings that you can search for clues for this quest—but watch out for Great Heaven soldiers. Only the building on the left contains a clue. Thered starmarks the location for this clue. It contains a letter detailing a missing child and suspicious activity under the well. You can search the other houses for loot to sell later.
How to get beneath the well in Winter Ember
After finding the letter, you need to make your way beneath the well. To do so, head to the point marked by theyellow star. There are several Greater Heaven soldiers in this area, so either stealth around the more eliminate them. At the end of the well, you find the missing child’s body with a note.
The note details that the Great Heaven were pouring a chemical, Communion, into the river. This is the cause of the poison and illness affecting the people, and his body is the source of the smell. Leave the well and make your wayup the river bank.
You need toeliminate the Greater Heaven soldierspouring Communion into the river. Once you have done so, stop the barrels from pouring the drug. Then, proceed to thewarehouseandset fireto it with fire arrows. After this, exit the warehouse and return to the couple to collect a skill token.
