Genshin Impact’s Summertime Odyssey event runs fromJuly 15, 2022, to May 16, 2025. During this time, you can explore the Golden Apple Archipelago, a limited-time area featuring hundreds of puzzles and mechanics to enrich your exploration experience. The Minacious Isle, which houses Mona’s Mirage, can switch between its past and present forms through thePlace in Waterfeature, changing the island’s topography.
Another big part of exploring the island involves usingwind currents, which onlyspawn when the weather is clear. But since it constantly rains in the Minacious Isle, you need to take matters into your own hands andmanually stop rain from fallingto be able to use wind currents.

How to stop rain from falling in the Minacious Isle (present form)
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a clearing with four Elemental Monuments. Pay attention to the Anemo Monument.
When theAnemo Monumentis turned off, the rain will start to fall. But when you light it up by applying Anemo, the rain will stop, and wind currents will appear around the whole island. If you wish to make it rain again, simply light up the rest of the Elemental Monuments to reset the Anemo one or wait some time for it to naturally reset.

How to stop rain from falling in the Minacious Isle (past form)
Head to the area circled in the image above to find a clearing and go through the arch entryway beside the pool of water to find a clearing. Look ahead—you’ll find a Pyro Monument on top of a structure.
When thePyro Monumentis turned off, the rain will start to fall. But when you light it up by applying Pyro, the rain will stop, and wind currents will appear around the whole island. The Pyro Monument will naturally reset over time. When that happens, simply activate it again to remove the rain.

The difference is more noticeable in this version of the Minacious Isle, as the stars in the sky will only appear when there is no rain. Keep in mind that when it’s raining, you’ll be able to see the “invisible” bridges in the sky. You can still use them without rain—but you can’t see them.
