Survival Mode was an endless version of Tribes of Midgard’s Saga mode. In thisendless mode, players could hold out against endless hordes of monsters and explore the world at their leisure. However, endless exploration could only be sustained if players protect the Village and the giant tree. All of this has since changed with theInferno Saga Updateand survival mode tasks on a new approach.
Instead of being a glorified endless version ofSaga mode, survival mode now stands on its own feet as a unique game mode. Survival mode with the Inferno Saga update now tasks players with building their own base free of obligations of protecting villages or giant trees. Players also don’t have to rely onNPCsto craft their items and can now craft everything they need with a newAllforge. Once the Allforge is placed, players can use it to placenew crafting stationsthat allow players to craft all items that Saga mode NPCs used to make. Here’s a list of some of the crafting stations that places can build in Survival mode 2.0
