The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival is a Genshin Impact rhythm game event that runs fromJune 13, 2022, to Jul 28, 2025. During the event period, you can enjoy seven pre-made beatmaps, plus custom beatmaps made by you and other players. You can alsocalibrate lagand the note falling speed to suit your preferences for the best rhythm game experience ever.
All playersAdventure Rank 30 and abovewho have completed theRitou Escape Planpart of the Archon Quest Chapter II: Act I - The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia are eligible to participate.
How to Unlock the Event
After meeting the requirements, initiate the event by heading to the event menu and select The Almighty Arataki Great and Glorious Drumalong Festival. ClickAccept Invitation, read Itto’s letter, then selectCollapseto begin the Event Quest. Follow the dialogue until you meet the Arataki Gang on Amakane Island’s isolated shore to start playing beats.
What is Note Falling Speed and How Does it Work?
As its name suggests, the rhythm game’s note falling speed determineshow fast the notes fall into the tap zone. The faster a note falls, the more quickly you need to react to tap or hold the notes on time. The note falling speeddoesn’t affect the number of notesin a beatmap, your score, and the difficulty level. It only delays the appearance of notes until the very last millisecond, so that they can fall into the tap zone faster. The note falling speed is preferential for making gameplay feel more comfortable, so don’t feel pressured to adjust to a specific speed!

Genshin Impact Note Falling Speed Comparison
Reference the two images below to get an idea of what a faster or slower note falling speed would typically look like in the game. The screenshots were taken at approximately the same time, but at different note falling speeds.
Note Falling Speed Level 1
You may notice that the level 1 speedshows more notes in the beatmapat the same time, which allows them to fall down slower. If you’re not used to rhythm games, you may find a slower speed more comfortable, as you can see the upcoming notes and prepare accordingly.
Note Falling Speed Level 2
In contrast, the level 2 speed showsfewer notes on the beatmap at the same time, as it waits until the last millisecond before presenting you with the upcoming notes, forcing them to fall faster and giving you less time to think about your next move. Experienced rhythm game players may find a faster speed more comfortable.

How to Adjust Note Falling Speed in the Arataki Gang’s Rhythm Game Event
Head to theSettingsmenu from the upper-right corner of the beatmap selection screen. UnderNote Falling Speed, toggle theChange Falling Speedoption to turn it on. On theSet Speedsection, adjust the value to suit your preferences. You can adjust in increments of 0.25, with a minimum speed of 1 and a maximum speed of 2. Unfortunately, Genshin Impact doesn’t offer a preview of the actual note falling, so you may need to make small adjustments and test out various beatmaps to find the perfect speed for you.
