Hot Swap is an Origin Trait introduced in Season 18 of Destiny 2. Origin Traits are weapon manufacturer-specific perks that give them a distinct personality. In the case of Hot Swap, these are weapons you can acquire from theDares of Eternity modehosted by the equally lovable Xur and Starhorse.
What is the Hot Swap Origin Trait in Destiny 2?
The Hot Swap Origin Trait has the following description: “Switching to this weapon while you are damaged strongly increases its handling for a short duration. Swords gain increased charge speed, guard resistance, and guard endurance instead.” It’s an excellent perk for those that like to be in the thick of battle, trading blows with their opponents.

Hot Swap Weapons
