Call of Duty: Warzone features several events that kick off randomly during a match and alter the pace and outcome of the ongoing game. With the Season 4 update, a brand-new mid-game event, Cash Extraction, joins the likes of Jailbreak, Fire Sale, and Occupation Scan.
What is Cash Extraction event in Call of Duty: Warzone?
Cash Extraction is a randomly occurring public event that players can witness once or even multiple times during a match. Carried out by non-playable mercenaries or NPCs, the mid-match event allows players to get their hands on some good loot and huge sums of cash.
What game modes is Cash Extraction available in?
Warzone’s Cash Extraction in-game event is currently only available in Resurgence Battle Royale matches on theFortune’s Keepmap. However, it has been hinted in theSeason 4 reveal blogthat the event may join other game modes.
How to complete Cash Extraction in Call of Duty: Warzone
Once the Cash Extraction event begins, every player’s tac map shows aflashing gold circle with a money bag icon. Afterward, a helicopter descends and rappels down a bag at the extraction site, similar to what we’ve seen during a Contraband Contract and Plunder’s Cash Extraction.
Before the bag is lowered, five A.I. mercenaries are deployed to guard the extraction site. Your objective is to kill these NPC agents and loot the bag for valuable items and rewards. Keep in mind that once the NPCs are attacked, they call-in reinforcements, which you may have to take out before looting the bag.
