Genshin Impact has had a bit of controversy lately with Yae Miko. Yae was teased in the version 1.5 stream, and since then, players have been waiting for her official release. When it came in version 2.5, many fans noticed that Yae wasn’t panning out how they had hoped, leading HoYoverse to attempt to fix her.

Yae’stotemswill now only target theclosest enemyand not apply Electro to a group of enemies at the same time. This is especially bad ,as herC2actually increased the range of the totem by60 percent, allowing for a broader attack. Now that the totems only target what they are closest to, her second constellation is essentially useless.

In addition, Yae still has a long setup time with her totems andno invincibility frameswhile placing them. The only thing that is fixed is her not targeting reguar objects, such ascampfires, instead of enemies. But due to the proximity tweak, she is now an even weaker unit, and players who paid for her constellations aren’t happy.

HoYoversedid note that they are closely watchingfeedbackon Yae and are open to working with her more.
