HoYoverse’s upcoming game, Honkai: Star Rail, just released aYouTube videoshowcasing one of the first playable characters in the game. March 7th is a bubbly, pink-haired girl who was once trapped in eternal ice. She was rescued by the Astral Express and became a key member of its crew since then. However, her predicament left her with a case of amnesia. Unable to recover her memories and remember her origins, she chose to name herself March 7th—the day she awoke once again.

Alongside crewmates Danheng, Himeko, Pom-Pom, and Welt, March 7th goes on trailblazing expeditions across the skies. Not wanting to lose her memories a second time, she carries a camera around to record experiences to remember forever. In battle, March 7th wields a bow and uses ice powers to shoot enemies from a distance.

Honkai: Star Rail March 7th

In the trailer, March 7th can be seen releasing a wave of Pom-Pom-shaped ice cubes, freezing enemies in place. However, the footage was taken from the beta-testing stage, so changes to her skills, animations, and more may occur in the future.

Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG with gameplay reminiscent of classic JRPGs, such as The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel. It’s being developed by HoYoverse, the genius behind Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact. Honkai: Star Rail’s first closed beta testing run began on October 2021. In March 2022, it opened the Galaxy Explorer Program, a long-term and more aggressive beta-testing effort.

No release date has been announced for Honkai: Star Rail, but HoYoverse is keeping eager fans excited with various giveaways and contests posted on their social media platforms, as well asHoYoLAB.
