While MMOs offer a persistent online experience, services sometimes have to go down for maintenance, and Final Fantasy XIV is no exception. With patch 6.11a on the horizon, Final Fantasy XIV has some scheduled maintenance.
Final Fantasy XIV’s All Worlds Maintenance Period
During this time, the Home World transfer service will be suspended and will halt 30 minutes before maintenance begins, so make sure you’ve switched worlds before the maintenance. The times listed above are subject to change. They can be longer or shorter depending on the volume of changes.

What’s expected in the 6.11a patch for Final Fantasy XIV?
The 6.11a patch doesn’t look like it’ll be too big of a patch, most likely just some bug fixes and balance changes to jobs and roles. This patch won’t be the one that adds many of the features fans are eagerly awaiting in the 6.1 patch cycle, sono Ameliance Leveilleur Custom Deliveries,no Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures, andno cross Data Center Travel. While some might find patch 6.11a underwhelming, the largerpatch 6.15 is expected to drop in June, 2022.
