Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has expanded endgame content for the Borderlands franchise by introducing Chaos Levels. These modifiers strengthen enemies and loot drops—the higher your Chaos Level, the greater your chance of finding Chaos Tier Gear. One question users may find themselves asking: will the max Chaos Level increase alongside Coiled Captors DLC in Wonderlands?
The max Chaos Level does increase with expansions for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. As noted by Gearbox in previous Wondercast broadcasts, theChaos Levels will continue to grow intermittently alongside significant updates.

The new max Choas Tier in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Gearboxrevealed that update 1.0.2.0 for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands would introduce the Coiled Captors paid expansion andincrease the max Chaos Tier to level 35, adding fifteen more Choas Levels for players to tackle as they explore the Wonderlands. Players do not need to purchase the paid DLC to experience the latest difficulty modifiers.

It’s worth noting that after Chaos Level 20, players have a chance to acquire Volatile Tier Gear, the most potent variant of weaponry in Gearbox’s fantasy looter-shooter, meaning the best gear is only available to those who climb the ranks.
