This year’sSolstice of Heroesin Destiny 2 may appear slightly different to long-time fans of the game. This time around, players will use a couple of different event currencies known as Silver Leaves and Silver Ash to kindle their armor and cause it to glow. Here is how you’re able to get Silver Leaves and Silver Ash during the Solstice 2022 event.
How to get Silver Leaves in Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes
Silver Leaves drop when youcomplete any activity while wearing Candescent armor. This includes almost any activity in the game, such as the Strike playlist or Public Events like Nightmare Containment. Eva Levante graciously offers an entire set to you upon speaking with her at the Tower. If you do happen to lose a piece, she will also sell you a replacement, ensuring you always have access to a full set.
However, a full set of Candescent armor is not actually needed to earn the leaves. You are onlyrequired to be wearing four piecesof the armor set, leaving one slot open for an Exotic of your choice. Once you get some Silver Leaves, you are ready to continue the process and turn them into Silver Ash.

How to get Silver Ash in Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes
Once you get a bundle of Silver Leaves, you want to head to the seasonal activity,Bonfire Bash. Upon finishing a round of Bonfire Bash, you will be able toincinerate your Silver Leavesat the bonfire and turn them intoSilver Ash.
Players can then upgrade their Candescent armor using Silver Ash andKindling. Kindling is a reward forcompleting seasonal challenges. Upgrading your armor will reroll its stats, resulting in better gear. Once you have upgraded a piece of armor to its maximum level, you will unlock a white glow for it. It will be quite the grind to get all armor pieces fully upgraded, but seeing the armor with its glow makes it all worth it.
