Last February (2021),Nintendo Directteased Crayon Shin-Chan game forNintendo Switchwith Japan exclusivity. Fans saw the cute and nostalgic summer-time game and were sad to hear it wasn’t getting a global release. But those same fans can now breathe a sigh of relief as Crayon Shin-Chan Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation gets its international release and localization this August.

Announced acrosssocial media, and in an officialpress release, Crayon Shin-Chan Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation will release in August. Described as a “Summer Adventure” game, it will follow Shinnosuke Nohara, the eponymous Shin-Chan, to Assou, an idyllic town in the middle of the countryside. There, Shin-Chan meets a strange professor who gives him an even stranger camera.

Using the camera, Shin-Chan can document Assau and enjoy his summer vacation. He explores the mysteries of the town while enjoying fishing, butterfly catching, and playing with his school friends. The game is a virtual vacation, and you can enjoy morning exercises, meals with the family, exploration, relaxing evening baths, growing vegetables, delivering food to stores, and even battle dinosaurs!
