At the time of writing,Hisuian Qwilfish cannot be shinywhen caught or encountered in Pokémon GO. This may not always be the case, but for now, players will have to simply wait for this shiny form to be added. Qwilfish’s regular variant has a shiny form in the game and is also an exciting color swap, turning from its bluish-green color to bright pink. Players hunting for this shiny Pokémon should look near bodies of water for increased chances of encountering one.

Galarian Zigzagoon is the featured Pokémon in the August 2022 Community Day, which means there is a precedent for regional forms getting the spotlight put on them.
