Each Fleece, other than the starting one, has a bonus and a drawback. For this reason, it can sometimes be better to use the starting Fleece as it provides no bonus or negative trait. Overall, the best Fleece depends on your playstyle, but we recommend theFleece of the Fates,Fleece of FragileFortitude, or thestarting Fleece.
The Fleece of the Fates gives you four tarot cards right off the bat, which allows you to steamroll through early areas. You typically won’t get more than four tarot cards anyway, so the drawback isn’t that bad. The Fleece of Fragile Fortitude will give you more hearts, allowing you to live longer. However, you do need to play more carefully as you cannot regain normal health.
