Besides theGodzilla vs. Kong event, the most anticipated change in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 update is the weapon balancing patch. While all weapon classes are receiving their fair share of buffs and nerfs, the adjustments to Sniper Rifles are going to affect the gameplay significantly.
Last season, the developers increased the base health in regular Battle Royale from 100 to 150 after player demand. This changed the time-to-kill and, hence, the bullets required to down a target for almost every weapon. Every Sniper Rifle and certain Marksman Rifles still retained theirone-shot kill potential.

To balance out the gameplay, Season 3 brings groundbreaking changes to this weapon class. Whileheavy-duty Sniper Riflescan still one-shot kill players, their moremobile counterpartsare only capable of this at their maximum-range values.
