Apex Legends is a free-to-play game that makes most of its money via premium cosmetic purchases. While these have been done in various ways, one of the major ways is through the loot box system in the game: Apex Packs. Apex Packs come in quite a few different varieties, though, and not every Apex Pack offers the same type of content to the player. Let’s take a look.
All Apex Pack Varieties
There are six major types of Apex Packs in Apex Legends. Note that any Apex Pack other than the event packs also have a less than 1% chance of having Heirloom Shards (the Mythic-tier currency in the game) in them instead. It is also guaranteed at pack number 500. Apex Packs never have repeats inside of them, as there are no duplicate cosmetics in this game.
